Shrimp Dip Recipe With Cream Cheese and Sour Cream

This easy Cold Shrimp Dip with Cream Cheese recipe is made with cooked shrimp, mayonnaise, sour cream and amazing seafood spice blend.

When you want a dip that has stood the test of time, look no further than this classic-inspired recipe for Cold Shrimp Dip with Cream Cheese. It's made with minimal ingredients, along with a spice blend that goes perfectly with this recipe.

For many folks, the thought of making a shrimp dip might seem overwhelming, especially if you haven't the time. But my Cold Shrimp Dip is different.

This recipe uses cooked shrimp, versus raw shrimp.

And, you have a number of options when it comes cooked shrimp. You can use leftover grilled or baked shrimp, cooked-frozen shrimp, or you can use the prepackaged version right from a shrimp cocktail setup that you buy from your grocer.

Cooking Tip: If using frozen shrimp, be sure to place the shrimp in a bowl of ice water to safely defrost. Once the shrimp has defrosted, remove the shrimp and use as noted in the recipe above.

I also use a spice blend that highlights this dip to the fullest.

The reason is because since shrimp has a mellow flavor that can only be enhanced with the proper spice mix or blend.

That's why I created this Fish and Seafood Seasoning Blend Recipe that is sure to please even the most finickiest of dippers.

It's not too spicy but adds just enough depth of flavor so that the star ingredient: shrimp, can shine.

But if you don't have time to make this spice-herb mix, try Old Bay Seasoning, instead.

Did You Know? My Fish and Seafood Seasoning Blend is very versatile and can be used with injunction with a variety of seafood and fish types when grilling, baking or sautéing.
